Dave Kresse, CEO Dave Kresse is CEO of Mu Dynamics. He was previously vice president and general manager of the storage management and application integration business unit at NetApp [NASDAQ: NTAP] where he led the company's rapidly growing application integration and data/storage management software business. Prior to joining NetApp, Dave led product marketing at Leapfrog Enterprises, where he managed the development and introduction of eight new product lines. Previously he was part of the executive team at PowerSchool, Inc. (acquired by Apple Computer), growing its revenue and customer base nearly 10-fold over a two year period. Dave has also served as a case team leader and consultant at Bain & Company, a strategy consulting firm. Dave holds a bachelor of arts degree in human biology from Stanford University and a master of business administration degree with distinction from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Ajit Sancheti, Co-founder and VP of Product Management Ajit Sancheti is a co-founder and VP of Product Management of Mu Dynamics. Ajit was previously a Senior Manager in Juniper's Corporate Development Group and was an instrumental member of the team that developed the industry's first Intrusion Detection and Prevention system for OneSecure before it was acquired by NetScreen. Prior to OneSecure, Ajit spent more than seven years at Western Digital, holding various senior-level engineering and management positions. Ajit has authored several papers, focusing on mechanical engineering, and holds U.S. patents on acoustics and vibration technologies. He has a Masters in Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and an MBA from INSEAD, France.

Kowsik Guruswamy, Co-founder and CTO Kowsik Guruswamy is the co-founder and CTO of Mu Dynamics. Prior to founding Mu, he was a Distinguished Engineer at Juniper Networks and the Chief Architect for the Intrusion Prevention product line. Kowsik joined Juniper Networks through the acquisition of NetScreen/OneSecure where he designed and architected the first inline Intrusion Prevention device. Paul Emery, Vice President of Engineering Paul Emery is the Vice President of Engineering at Mu Dynamics. Paul brings more than 18 years of global software engineering and technology management experience in the enterprise software and financial services industries. Prior to Mu, Paul was the Vice President of Engineering and Technical Services at Visible Path. Before Visible Path, Paul was Vice President Server Technologies at Oracle, Vice President of Engineering and Client Services at FaceTime Communications and Vice President of Engineering at Vignette, where he led the successful product integration efforts of several of Vignette’s strategic acquisitions. Paul joined Vignette through its acquisition of enterprise portal pioneer Epicentric, where he was also the Vice President of Engineering.  He holds a A.B. in physics from Harvard University.

Joe Furgerson, Vice President of Strategy Joe Furgerson is the Vice President of Strategy at Mu Dynamics. Joe has extensive experience in routing and networking technologies, having spent eight years at 3Com Corporation before joining Juniper Networks as its first Vice President of Marketing and Product Management in January 1997. Joe's positioning strategies helped develop a strong public image that elevated Juniper's market visibility index and established the company as a technical innovator, a results-oriented company, and a significant competitor in the routing market. Subsequent to Juniper Networks, Joe has consulted with multiple startups on strategy and marketing. He has an MBA from Stanford University and a BA in economics from Claremont McKenna College.

Adam Stein, Vice President of Marketing Adam Stein is the Vice President of Marketing at Mu Dynamics. Adam has more than 20 years of marketing and category creation expertise focused primarily within the networking and security hardware, software and silicon markets. He previously led global marketing programs including content creation, lead generation and outbound marketing at UTM network security innovator Fortinet. Adam has also led outbound marketing for Cisco Systems, Juniper Networks, Broadcom and Foundry Networks.
